she's not a b**** but also a victim bcs the prince (now emperor) was obsessed with her. The queen was actually married to the TRUE owner of the South. the prince is the greediest person here. the former emperor was interested with the folk of the North mountain (Count Ardea's research was about this so they have to kill him) but still know his place and was a close friend of Phileo's father the former duke. it's the current emperor and his right-hand's (Leo's father) fault. They want the power of the North that's why there's infiltration and they also killed the leader of Salus, the real owner of South (Queen's husband) so the prince can wed the queen. That's why Remus' family is not actually the leader of South.
I want to add that Queen is actually a grey character. u'll understand her. she's helpful in some ways however she also does bad things.
