Don't get me wrong I LOVE Riftan and Maxi moments BUT I would have liked for her to stand up for herself. I know she was going to but her moment to shine was interrupted by our hot ML.

At this point, he is just babying her.
the manga leaves out a lot of inner thougts and other details... in the novel she tried to retort back but she just froze, all she said was "th-the spell..." and that's when Riftan comes....
