This is already very very sad. The best assumption is that it's just going to get a lot worse.
The relationship dynamic makes a lot of sense. Yuki probably picked up s*x work from his mom to support his talented brother. Because of his line of work, his personality naturally became cold, but this extended to shunning Hayato, as a means of protecting him. Consequently, Hayato, who has experienced his brother's warmth in the past, starts to yearn for it to the point that he will probably try to do anything that he can to get it, whether that's getting top grades, going to the same high school despite those grades, or stalking him. But, this inadvertently only annoys Yuki, who can't be straightforward with him. And now that his secrets have been revealed, the worst (as of yet) has happened. Hayato turned out to be a homophobe, at least for now. I imagine by the title that Hayato is the monster that he will keep pushing himself to his brother to the point it will start hurting the two of them.
Hopefully, I'm wrong and they get their sh** together.
