I get the fact uncle is worried about him, but he's literally not a child and the ml is not the crazy creep, trying to box every Alpha under one umbrella is not the way to go, mc will be going back to school and later into the society, should he then avoid every Alpha he comes across? The best uncle should have done, was to tell him to be careful and to reach out should anything goes wrong not trying to isolate him and his uncle better not be in love with him

The person with the trauma was the one shaped and changed by it, so don't you think he's already reminded himself a million times to be on guard? A simple, "hey i'm worried about you, please make sure to stay sharp even if he seems like a good guy, and I'll be here if you want to talk" would have sufficed.
