I feel like I understand what the author is attempting to achieve here - the MC is being persistent and not giving up while he is being subjected to bullying and while people are constantly denying him in the name of efficiency and so on. We can see characters dis-agree with him - the ML says it is a waste of time and the comic manager says they should call it quits. In doing so the author is able to revolve tension/depth of the characters by the aversion of what the MC is doing. We also seem like we will be able to understand the ML more. While this is being said , we don't understand the MC's motive. Like I do get the fact that he wants to stand up to injustice but we don't know why he is so relentless or persistent about it
