So many people misunderstanding Grid here, he's absolutely right in his assumptions based on current information, yes he is emotional, he's also not the smartest person out there, and he has spent years suffering and being belittled and treated poorly due to a lack of talent, when you have no talent it feels like nothing you do is ever good enough, the reason he has gotten to where he is now is through sheer unyielding persistence and a little bit of luck, both good and bad. His talent is attracting people, but he wasn't able to actually have that talent realized until after he'd been used as a punching bag for years, and through pure persistence got his hands on a book he shouldn't have realistically been able to get otherwise.
He doesn't know just how powerful Piaro has gotten as a farmer, because he's been so busy that he's never had the opportunity to see him in action, so his understanding of the situation is that Piaro, one of the most powerful swordsman in the continent, has sacrificed his talent for swordsmanship to be a much weaker farmer for basically no reason, and as for Minor, Minor is much, much better at finding mines and minerals than he is at mining, but he insists on being exclusively a miner, thus wasting his talent on finding extremely rare and powerful ores.
He feels like everyone around him is squandering the talent that he's not allowed to have while he is slamming his head into every wall possible to get stronger, based on his current understanding of things, he's completely justified in his reasonings and anger.
You fuc**** have read 166 chapters and still think Grid is the same person he was in chapter 1. Y'all seriously either zero reading comprehension or you're not actually reading the series.
It's almost 200 chapters and greed still trashy. Dude, Minor wants to become a miner, it's his goal and dream but you keep on pushing what you want. And to Piaro too. Dude, they're your subordinates not slaves that you can just decide what they need to do. Fuc**** stupid and trashy.
I get it's all character development and stuff but how many times are we going to repeat it? How fuc**** dense is Greed to not learn a single thing after everything he went through
I hope greed gets the beating that will put him in his place once again, how much character development does this guy need? How trash was he for him to need this much character development?
