If you think about it if the sword multiplied it would be impossible to sell properly after 10 days cuz everyone you sold it too would have 2 one to keep and one to sell so forth and so on till everyone in the game had one then two then three till it overtakes everyone's inventory and starts cluttering the world a terrible item for sure
