Raiatea - Chapter 1

I would be way too ashamed to even ask an indigenous person to bring me to their sacred grounds.. mean if I already know it's reserved for special occasions of the tribe only! In my eyes you can only go if invited by them, never by asking. Especially as a photographer... 🤔 
he did already trespass as a kid, and I guess it was accepted only because he was just an unknowing kid.
if any of you readers has indigenous background I would love to know your thoughts
