Well, this is a very questionable method of treating psychological problems. But let's say (it's fiction, after all), that MC also solved his problems by having ML kidnap him, so in this fantasy world, these are some kind of effective treatments. In the real world, no.

But I liked how MC reacted to the situation. He saw the cage, but he didn't leave; he stayed close, supported ML, and waited patiently. That's a LOT.
And when MC realized that nothing would change on its own, that ML needed help and couldn't handle it on his own, he decided to take action (in a strange way, but still!)
