Ratings

Is it just me but a lot of the stories I find that are yaoi are rated low. I've been running into a lot of stories I haven't read yet to save and they're like 3.7 stars or lower. It's lowkey concerning and frustrating because I just want "good" stories to read. I mean everyone has their own type of stories they like but I wonder what they're putting in these stories that so many aren't getting good ratings. Some stories I've read, I don't necessarily agree with certain negative opinions but there needs to be better plots out there.
