Summary
Historie takes place in ancient Greece and follows the life of Eumenes and his childhood, who would later in his life grow up to be the secretary and general to Alexander the Great. **IMPORTANT:** - Hitoshi Iwaaki frequently redoes the art for volume releases as well as add smaller chapters together. - There are no missing chapters on MangaDex, Chapter 108 "Warped" immediately follows Chapter 97 "Disposal of Olympias (2)", this is because chapters were added together in previous volumes, so the chapter count between volume and magazine are out of sync. --- - **Won the 16th Osamu Tezuka Cultural Prize's Grand Prize in 2012 for Manga** - **Won the 14th Japan Media Arts Festival Grand Prize for Manga**

One of the best historical manga out there. The story of Eumenes is fascinating, and the way it mixes real history with fictional details makes the whole thing really easy to get invested in. ⚔️🏛️ The political schemes, warfare, and character writing are all really strong, and Eumenes himself is such an interesting MC. The pacing is slow at times, but the writing and attention to detail make it absolutely worth reading. 📚🔥
Currently unemployed, but somehow always busy reading another 100 chapters 😭📚
