Summary

In a world where people can cure a common cold by shooting themselves in the head, resurrection is the defining characteristic of what makes one human. Those who fail to resurrect themselves, known as Vectors, are diagnosed with Resurrection Deficiency Syndrome (RDS) and are either incarcerated or eliminated by the police. Although some escape artists assist these individuals in evading authorities and acquiring new identities, defeating foes that cannot be killed is a daunting endeavor. Rin is one such escape artist, tasked with rescuing Vectors whose cover has been blown. She must contend with Detective Kenzaki, the leader of the anti-Vector task force, who holds a particular disdain for Vectors because they were responsible for the death of his beloved sister. The battle is between the police and the escape artists, between immortals and mortals. The winner's outcome is uncertain, yet one certainty is that it will be a gruesome brawl.
