I just had a crazy thought...what if Miko's power isn't just simply being able to perceive them clearly? I've realized she's never attempted to interact with the 'spirits' beyond accidental interactions. What if she has an ability she doesn't know about because she's convinced herself the 'spirits' will hurt her in some capacity? I'm kind of leaning towards this as we're starting to get 'sentient spirits' capable of being commanded by someone. Just throwing this out there.
