I think it was lone necromancer has something similar happen in that one they bombed his base. They were terrorists but he let them live and join idk the bullshit they said to make it "make sense" but they had whole arcs about him killing the enemy because it's the world they live in now and you grow stronger by doing it yet in the current arc he for some reason acts completely different for no other reason than a bad author needing things to go this way.

Why do so many story's that are high viewed on here have no thought in them.Great concepts but they almost immediately make it dumb by dragging arcs or making characters selectively stupid to allow the story to go the direction they want. Even if they make it like 100 chapters they then have the Mc dothis sh** where he punches the enemy who just tried to kill him and it's all good because the author says so it's never a character moment where they decide to let people die so he doesn't have to kill or kill so people don't die it's just whatever they need to prolong the story or arc.

Or is the difference "murim" vs "real world" because in that same arc he says "they work the same" but will conduct himself completely different in them and it just works out because the author says so. If people can kill and cripple everyone around mc and he punches them and says to say sorry there is no story reason his entire family isn't killed. It would make more sense if that's the point but nah it's all good if he blatantly retaliates against an entire organization and let's all of them live because a single person said sorry they won't do it again.

Can someone who kept reading tell me why. Idk witch chapter but they went after his homie tried to kill him failed but successfully crippled him and the MC says "apologize". Now what ever arc they do the enemy just has to say sorry right? Killed his master dude just has to say sorry. The same group who went after his homie goes after his soft targets killing his entire family he will get over it if they say sorrry. What is the point of any of it or will he randomly care some arcs and not others.

It's a great read, also funny at times. Awesome drawing, not that over the top flashy garbage. The only issue... It's not completed so we have to wait for updates.
