@Meiko Nobu is set in the same universe and show the customers paying with gold and silver and then having it exhanged at a pa** shop. 
And from the look on the pa** shop owners face, hes making a killing off of it. 
(Cant remember which chapter to refer to.)

@AJ22 Well, they have been adding in extra panels to things they translate begging people to read on their website so that the pay to view people dont win so my guess is they are colapsing and have lost their better translators? 
They went through a phase a while ago of reasleasing half chapters and being like "read the full chapter here" so there is a hint of desperation.
Just a guess though.
