@Mistress Maya well. the game in this story is virtual reality where a person’s mind and consciousness is transferred to a virtual space. to do that the machine/system would have control and manipulation over all of the player’s brain sensors and senses. including the brain’s perception of time. most likely, the pause time effect would either be: A. the two having their interaction/fight at hyperspeed with all the game’s processing power being allocated to playing out their scenerio while every other perception is set to a very brief slowed or lag state essentially, or B. the game literally just paused everyone else perception of time in the game, with their minds in the game and the game time being paused, the game isn’t sending any information to the player brains, and isnt triggering any of the brains sensors. so the players would functionally in a sorta mini coma state if that was case (possibly could be considered brain dead in such a state)
