@I love reading i dont remember it all too well anymore cause its been long since i read the novel but i'll explain it as good as i can. So basically his mothers sister( the women who died which you saw on the memorial picture)  had a non celebrity or rich husband ig and she left the family for that and then got betrayed by her husband. In the end she died but i don't remember how and so her son the other guy tae joon seob was kind of like "adopted" by lee seobs mom because her sister was dead and her sisters husband left . So i think i might have forgotten some aspects but that is practically it. Hope this helps :)
