Re reaader here.. One of the things i like about this story is how Killian gradually breaks free of the brainwash/setting and gradually falls in love with Edith.. It seems soo natural (to me) instead of the usual love at first sight, idk why but somehow im in love type of setting.. And i love how the mother is also gradually breaking free from brainwash/setting too... How she realize that her behavior somehow contradicts with her suppose conscience at time as she also had similar experience as Edith as she said before.. I like how their feelings don't abruptly changes but gradually instead.. Feels more natural to me
