@Akii supposedly there's not, but we don't know until halfway through. That's the most part author gets a stroke while writing and decided that the genre must become romance instead of action/revenge

Guys...give me spoiler, is there a romance? trollface sticker...
The Butler’s Perspective: Why Anxiety is His Only Logic

Many commenters seem to be overlooking the butler’s perspective. Put yourself in his shoes: he has spent years "babysitting" an idiotic, reckless brat. As the person who likely raised the Protagonist (MC) from childhood, he has developed a deep-seated anxiety regarding every move the MC makes.

When you spend a lifetime watching someone ruin everything they touch, you don't just "turn off" that stress because they suddenly start acting differently. Here is why the butler’s reaction is actually the most realistic part of the story:

The Stakes are High: This is an "all or nothing" situation. One mistake from the MC doesn't just mean a scolding; it means the end of their house.
The "Taboo" Suspicion: The butler knows the MC's true nature better than anyone. From his point of view, a sudden 180-degree shift in personality isn't "growth"—it’s suspicious. It makes perfect sense that he’d suspect the MC of using a taboo or forbidden magic to fake this competence.
The Unfairness of Expectation: It’s unfair to expect the butler to instantly trust the MC just because the MC has regressed. The MC has the benefit of future knowledge, but the butler is still living with the scars of the "old" MC’s failures.

Bottom line: You can’t change a lifetime of learned behavior in a single day. He isn't being a hater; he's a man who has been pushed to his breaking point for years.

@Lvm try reading a little bit more. It's clear that the woman has violated something but we don't know what is the severity of breaking that promise. Base on what the MC told us it is something serious and needs to he address for his family and kingdom. Try to comprehend a little bit more about their dialogues.

Can anyone anyyyonnne-a suggest some good manhwa with good art, plot, character development not overw...
sigh... the author really likes to make the Mc look like weak even though he's already strong enough. Why not utilize his original ability? So many drugs and chemical composition but the author lacks imagination in that part. Everything is just instant and cliché.
