It lacks story from one moment the Mc is joining the military and in the next chapter at the start his parents are in an arena fighting duels and the Mc doesn't appear for about 10 chapters and all with all the power he gained in the abyss he still couldn't save his parents from getting killed.
The story is quite literally the author trowing ideas
