@punyemas that's not the guy who killed him. The guy near the end (talking the person with the fan). That's the guy who killed him. Although the hairstyle is slightly different. His sword is the same as the guy from the first chapter. Whereas the guy he killed has a completely different sword

@Hierophant He knows. From what I pieced together, either he knew from the beginning or his brother told him early on when he found him. That's one of the reasons he gave him a count title even though public knowledge is he's a commoner. So it would be normal for him to be near his brother as his "ally". They're also quite comfortable with each other as shown in some early chapters. Which suggested to me ML definitely knew they were brothers. TBH I even think that the ring he gave Edele is some kind of heirloom from his mother. But maybe I'm just reaching at this point lol

@Lyly Clarabel The way I see it. It's just a random doppleganger you meet out in the world. Just like irl you can meet someone who absolutely looks like you but aren't related in any way. Not sure but either they never told her she had an older brother or it's believed he's dead (going with the former here)

@Tyrus from what I can tell MC and his friends are basically elite even compared to upperclassmen. This is why they're called the "Golden Class". MC sister as well has always been portrayed as an amazing genius. But yeah I do find it odd that among all the 3rd years, it feels like none are on the same skill level
