Oh snap. Didn't think he would go for the position of Head of the family. That's certainly a way for him and Jizel to live happily together. Problem is how will he take down Heilas. If he actually kills him, it might backfire and might cause a strain with Jizel. I'm leaning towards more on gaining more political influence and military achievements compared to the other brother that will force Heilas to consider only the MC as the heir

@punyemas that's not the guy who killed him. The guy near the end (talking the person with the fan). That's the guy who killed him. Although the hairstyle is slightly different. His sword is the same as the guy from the first chapter. Whereas the guy he killed has a completely different sword

@Hierophant He knows. From what I pieced together, either he knew from the beginning or his brother told him early on when he found him. That's one of the reasons he gave him a count title even though public knowledge is he's a commoner. So it would be normal for him to be near his brother as his "ally". They're also quite comfortable with each other as shown in some early chapters. Which suggested to me ML definitely knew they were brothers. TBH I even think that the ring he gave Edele is some kind of heirloom from his mother. But maybe I'm just reaching at this point lol

@Lyly Clarabel The way I see it. It's just a random doppleganger you meet out in the world. Just like irl you can meet someone who absolutely looks like you but aren't related in any way. Not sure but either they never told her she had an older brother or it's believed he's dead (going with the former here)

I've always thought Urek and Baekryun met when they were already rankers. Also Garam as well. But I guess this makes sense, Urek had an influence on Garam which indirectly led her to question things and leaving Zahards side
Interesting. From what I recall Urek met Baek Ryun when he was a ranker already in his forest. Didn't think they'd bump into each other this early. Same with Garam meeting Urek
