@HanaJawa# Both are wrong. I think it’s worth noting that Pocahontas hasn’t been in mainstream media for quite sometime. I don’t think it’s a stretch to assume this is due to the portrayal of her and her story back in the 90s. Any story that romanticizes slavery or downplays racism is problematic to say the least and should not be platformed

@HanaJawa# I think the key is that we are now adults. We should have the discernment to recognize content perpetuates negative stereotypes or racism. The real Pocahontas had a much different life from the story. Google is free.
