This was a bit cute tbh, when while recuperating he kept taking advantage of his injuries to keep Lilly close to him, which Lilly noticed but didn't comment on. Anyways, Lilly got a title of Viscount and an estate by the crown prince (now Emperor, having killed his father who has already become a lost case) for her contribution to the battle, and at the grave site of Theo's family, Lilly tells him that she still loves him, but the wounds he gave her won't disappear easily.
- She tells him she can't forgive him even now, and being with him is still too painful. She tells him to wait for her wounds to heal if he really loves her, and though he cries and begs, he ultimately promises to wait for her heart to come back to him even if that takes his whole life.
- Then there is a 5 years time skip where Lilly is now living as a viscount, loved by her servants and people (and Charlotte is with her every step of the way, of course), and her health has improved a lot.

Theo tries to atone by giving his vitality to Lilly (she took some drugs for her insomnia, and as its side effects she is slowly dying, not to mention is most probably infertile too).
- Lilly rejects him though, and she is clear with him that she would only stay with him till they take their revenge and she has completely destroyed the Everetts, and she wants divorce if he truly wants her to be happy now.
- They manage to kill Owen (who had already killed the previous duke, his father, by posioning him), and the younger brother gave his memories and life to Lilly so she could extend her life (she still didn't forgive him).
- During their fight with Owen, Theo takes a fatal blow meant for Lilly and dies (his heart stopped) and Lilly realizes that she still loves him. She used a bracelet that Theo gave her earlier to revive him.

@Bluerose_ Anyways, i don't remember if this happened before Lilly ran away or after, but she was kidnapped by a woman who is delusional and thinks she has a right to the dukedom and beside Theo (who was also manipulating Theo's aunt, fanning her hatred for Lilly) and thrown into an abyss from where no one has ever come back (it's a sort of portal to he**).
- There she makes a contract with Somnia, spirit of dreams, and escapes, found by Theo and brought back.
