...Fun trivia: that bizarre creation coming around the corner from behind Inaba on page 11 (yes the thing with the long breast), is actually the 1936 painting Soft Construction with Boiled Beans by the surrealism master himself, Salvador Dalí 🖤🖼
The painting was his interpretive premonition of the Civil War
I do love in this arc seeing the mangaka's fine drawings of so many historical art styles, it makes my little art goblin heart happy haha
That first double-page panel showing the statues is just beautiful. Such intricately detailed work. One part of this manga that I love is watching Oku Hiroya's art style improve and evolve 💚
Urgh, teenagers.
Love me some good body horror hehe
Nurarihyon will always be me fave in this manga though
It is your business if someone helpless is being mistreated and you know that it's happening, or even just have a strong suspicion. You are just as bad as an abuser if you sit idly by and make up excuses to do nothing about blatant mistreatment. Remember that.
Urgh, men.
So don't read it then? No one's forcing you to.🤡
Bro this manga is so trash oh can people say this is peak the mc is weak asf and he is such a cry...

Ito has a very particular way of drawing faces. Individual but with the same kind of ethereal, uncanny look and very similar features.
The assistant look like tomie
...The double-page and full-page illustrations in Ito's work are always so spectacular. Can't help but drink in all of the minute detail he so diligently pours into each one, no matter how depraved the subject matter. Ito is such a superb artist.
Decomposition gases.
A stench so pure it can fly.
...The art style of this manga is stunning.
