Jaekyung is a jerk no doubt about it. But because of his personality we only see the bad stuffs he is doing NOT saying I condone it (doc Dan is still an angel that needs our love and protection) but I think he view doc as one of his people the fact that I'm assuming he's the longest who have stayed with and keep up with him and plus the jinx thing as well. He is Hella rough with him and extremely egotistical. But he did still save doc from gating r*p*d which is we all assumed with his personality he could careless but he did. He payed the money Dan owed part of it he could ignore. But he payed but at the same time be prectical he's not gonna spend money without getting anything.
And also he could have ignored the phone from the hospital with doc's grandma...

I'm not saying I like him BUT also don't hate him too much. I hate how he acts. But with this chapter if we didn't know and we are in jaekyung's shoes I would have probably acted the same way. Specially because he handles the physical condition of jaekyung and that IS EVERYTHING for an athlete.
