so yeah I had a hint that maybe they become a  lover or something and then they broke up but the guy from the past three years is still in love with the mc so he pretend to be an otaku so he can still see the mc(just opinion)

that's right they are very similar so I think that the guy in the past three years ago change his appearance as an otaku so he can still see the mc because maybe they become lover and broke up but the guy still loves the mc(no hate it's just my opinion)
