ok, time for another comment section full of people reading "age gap romance the manga" and going "erm, why is there an age gap here?" as though the tags don't literally tell you exactly what's in the thing before you read it. "But I don't read the tags!" genuinely, with no hostility, that's called being illiterate. 

that's so stupid. why can't main characters in manhwa have glasses without needing a convoluted backstory for them? Is bad eyesight really such a huge flaw that we can't let a main character just have reading glasses he wears all the time because he never stops working?

I mean, I get it. He's barely 18 and his mom just disappeared. They let you buy cigarettes at that age, but that doesn't make you a mature and independent adult who will never ever need their parents ever again. And he probably feels like someone he genuinely loved disappeared from his life because he personally failed her. And it's a mother figure! He already lost one mom and now his replacement mom just up and left and he had no idea that she would ever plan to do that. 

For a long time he kept his distance and he broke it off himself. It's understandable why he wouldn't want a dedicated relationship in his situation, but he's also the one who kept her in such an unstable limbo for so long.

would have been great if the pages weren't scrambled. Number these before you upload them. If the problem is that it's going from 1 to 11 because it's trying to sort alphabetically instead of numerically, number them with 001, 010, ect.  This is silly.

I'm always kind of irritated when these all-forgiving heroines just ignore the suffering they've been through. Your sister has been repeatedly stealing all the income you're earning to take care of her while contributing nothing to the house, and she's been doing it to try to pay her way into being a good person. Yes, she missed your parents, but how much can she make others suffer for that? If this situation were happening to someone else we wouldn't be expected to just be okay with it.

lol, "Please don't adopt my cousin because I'm trying to make her your granddaughter" is an incredible thing to have to explain to your father.

She's never had to talk to them like they're people. She's never had to give up anything for anyone because she's been worshipped this whole time. She cannot comprehend being asked for anything.

"I'm the hated villainess" and it's a character who does nothing wrong and dies tragically, and the solution to that tragic death is "just don't alt-f4". words used to mean something. Now mangaka will call a character a villainess for frowning in the background while the original heroine steals her grandmother's jewelry and farts on her dog.

If this wasn't an isekai and she was jus a normal girl whodheard gossip about him, it would change literally nothing about the story or dynamic. The only thing it would lose is clickbaiing the audience with "villainess".

I'm rereading this but the very premise that she's doing all her wacky bs on purpose to piss him off and is succeeding so much that it's literally saving his life is such a good dynamic it's unbelievable.

Giannino needs to stand up for her. He's in the room while she's been harassed and interrogated and threatened by grown a*s men and he's only really lifting a finger when it won't cause conflict. He's gotta do more than calm her down and make her a sandwich. He were in the room when they tried to force her to be engaged to someone who literally had her publicly executed and he couldn't even say "that's my fiance" or something. And if he can't say anything, then it needs to be made more clear that he's politically over a barrel and can't try to help her without losing what little authority he has to actually do anything for her. Right now he's just kind of also there.

Did he know she was being interrogated repeatedly? Did he worry about her at all? Did he actually try and push back against that plan and just got beaten into submission before she was summoned? A couple chapters ago he was swearing that he'd never let her be hurt again. If he's also struggling and he wants to help, they need to show that. Right now he just looks like a coward who won't stick up for her when it actually counts.

oh, so they're definitely leading up to some kind of reveal that the saintess is a spy sent to destabalize the kingdom by getting a bunch of high ranking men horny and distracted.
