@Red_August I've got nothing else to read, and there's no harem so far, so that already makes it worth giving it another 40 chapters.

She's retarded. He literally beat up a bunch of workers and wrecked the garden, and she's feeling sympathy for him and agreeing with him? Okay, so If I killed a bunch of terrorist, and killed their children too, so they won't be terrorist, I'll be doing something terrible but will be good for society. That's her line of though right now. Damian is a violent thug and needs to be sent to jail, not worked with or released. She is so dumb.
There's one thing I don't like about Japanese reincarnations. Its when they make the past life "stronger" than the current life. Yeah, the past life has more memories (and more information to, thanks to all the media and education), but the feelings shouldn't be as strong.
Since she's lived like what? 18 years in this life, and 24 in the other, the personality of her current life should be a bit less strong in determining her beliefs and actions compared to her past life. But they always make it so that the personality of the old life completely rewrites the current life, to the point you might as well make it a posession instead of a reincarnation, if her experiences, thoughts, beliefs in the current life won't affect her.

@A r i n a He probably did her a favor. To live getting gr@ped by the crown prince, living as a doll, for th rest of your life, after abusing and/or torturing your only love? It didn't seem like she had any desire for life anyways, given how easy she gave up.
In otherwords, meh.

I knew they were going to get eliminated (they always do, its like a cliche for a FL's family to get destroyed by the enemy), but i didn't think it was gonna be this fast.

@rosieprincess Its set before 1970. So women were treated more as objects, than they are now. Its actually more rare to fine a father who loves his daughter, and doesn't see them as more than an object.

@Banshee Well, he still hates her now, so nothing much has really changed. He's still a piece of sh** father in this life, though not as much as the previous one. Even then, that's like saying bull cr** is better than horse cr**.

@haris More like she was a puppet who didn't really know much except what was public knowledge. This whole story is about character growth of a naive puppet who cut her own strings and trying to learn how to move on her own after all.
Its just that she's made a bit too dumb for some people, but I think its fine, since she's just an average girl, not a super human g** like the MC's in other stories.

@fleuscent Honestly, with this pacing, yeah, it does make her seem stupid. Its understandable, though, since she was basically a sheltered noble lady, completely manipulated by storoni in her PL. So we can definitely say she doesn't even have book smarts. And she has the learning abilities of a normal person too, so its not like she is a genius with IQ or EQ either.
So its quite understandable that she is slow to learning and pretty stupid on picking up cues.
However, the fact that its taking years for her to learn this, does make her seem a bit too stupid, when an average person can probably pick this up faster.
This would be fine, if the author presented it in some way like she has an EQ impairment, but from all intents and purposes on how her character was presented, she should just be a normal, average person in all respects, and an average person with average EQ, should pick up on it pretty fast, not like a male harem protagonist with the density of a black hole.
