oh my g** i read this ages ago and forgot the name of it, and i just started it again, thinking that this is new and then i realized😭😭 why am i so dumb, who tf looks at a title, and book cover, thinks, 'oh i could have sworm ive seen that somewhere before' reads the first chapter and goes 'i think i read something once where it starts off with a dream just like that' like how dumb can one be to not connect the dots until they see the hot a** ml

i mean tbh it was a valid crashout, just on the wrong person. like his biggest secret was exposed to everyone which is one of his worst case scenarios, so it makes sense that he's in a really sh** mood. and on top of that, he's got a ton of self loathing for how he treated kim dan, and now, even when he's trying to change, he feels like kim dan still really wants to leave, which would only increase the self loathing. so like yeah, valid crashout, but just on the wrong person, just because he was really sh** to kim dan this chapter it doesn't change the fact that he's trying to improve. it doesn't make it ok, obviously, but there are some comments that basically write off his entire character development, like obviously he cant just change his whole personality, it takes time to change, and this is the most realistic way that his character would react under this set of circumstances. still tho, my poor shayla didn't deserve to be yelled at like that TT-TT
