mc literally has a yearning male interest but chose to go with the one who literally caused her to end herself in her previous life. the fact that they dragged on the plot of her hating him and getting with the blonde male interest was bearable but, if u were going to do that in the first place, why have her end up back with the toxic red son of a btich.

so like, i read the wrong secret alliance- but this was still interesting imo, this was my first time reaidng something like this and i can sort of understand how each of them would feel. but the blonde guy is a womanizer and its makes me a feel a tad bit unsettled by the idea that mc is dating him
disgusting, creepy, weird, uncomfortable, uneasy, gives a icks that i never knew i had, ew, just ew
a ccomplete WASTE of my time, the ml is so horny and freaky in the weirdest way possible.
this manhwa has one the most irritating story progression. there is SO much potential in the writing but was ruined by the continuous back and forth of the two male leads having chances + dragged out misunderstandings. su-ae/soo-ae (the female lead), is indecisive and portrayed as this woman who doesnt have her own self respect. the author makes it the second male lead (dohwa) not move on from the female lead. like dude, get over it, its highschool. and what really made me rage reading this is how the drama started from highschool and is still ONGOING 8 YEARS after highschool. the manhwa is constantly on hiatus, we dont have a proper idea who would be the endgame, the characters have no story progression. the best way to end this is to have eunhyuk (male lead) and dohwa (second male lead) kiss
a genuine masterpiece of writing with an extremely well-written depiction of how stockholm syndrome feels like and should be. the whole thing is absolutely devastating, everyone in the manhwa are both victims and perpetrator, they are all at fault and treated wrongly in some way. you wouldnt be able to both love and hate the characters.
truly, this was really really really interesting read for me. definitely worth trying!
mc clearly has stockholm syndrome. mc is clearly underreacting. mc is basically like tae ui from passion when narrating the whole story. theres nothing wholesome abt this manhwa, its just that the story was presented through an idiotic and clueless mc who prolly couldnt care less if he got killed.
its absolute garbage because it sets unrealistic standards in human morale. like bfr, who the hell lets someone else SA/kidnap/punish you just bc you feel guilty over something you've done more than a decade ago, and besides, the mc didnt even do anything wrong, it was just a misunderstanding between the two characters.
if there was a choice, i'd give this 0 stars. the people who give this 4-5 stars, respecfully, please seek help or perhaps you may just be an immature young bl reader

this is really just hardly bearable for me to read but if i compare this to non zero sum, this is already 100% better.
i remember reading this a year and half ago. in the beginning of the story, i simply assumed that this story would be a depiction of manipulation, psychological abuse, obsessive ml manhwa. but as the story proceeds and the chapters continue, it really makes me question the author's choice of releasing something like this on the internet. i know some defenders may argue that the author is spreading awareness or such, but theres always a boundary between speading awareness, or simply fantasizing about it. this manhwa has made me gagged many times, especially because of how sick the mc is being treated and his lack of power to fight back. i really dislike when authors make their mc's so weak to the point that they are treated horribly and bad throughout the entire story.
the story itself isnt bad. it really depends on your tastes and the plot u are into. this definitely is a one of a kind that you would ever read across manhwas. but it is to be warned that this manhwa has fetishes and tropes that may be disturbing for you.
it really depends on preference. the art is amazing, the characters are interesting to follow through the story. although i must say, tae ui has to be the worst mc to give us any context because how did he perceive xinglu as a bottom twink femboy?
this was one my first bl's and i believe that it was a HUGE impact in having me being indulged in this bl fandom. the characters are written well, their eyes are drawn with emotion that can be understood in one glance.
this is really different from msot yuri's ive read, it involves toxicity and people driven into insane mentality because of it. theres a lot of interesting dynamics and relationships between main cast in which will make a lot of sense as you continue to read and learn about their past. they all of their issues and theres no proper justification of either
this is just so peak, i love the characters and their controversial relationship
