@Bakagou I would say she is worse. Cheating is one thing, but giving someone away as a sex...

I know this may not even be the official ending yet, but even from these later chapters alone, this story has already crossed the line so badly that I can no longer see it as a satisfying revenge story.

I fully understand that the younger sister was a horrible person. She betrayed her older sister, slept with her husband, mocked her appearance, and acted shamelessly after being exposed. I am not defending her actions at all. She was cruel, selfish, jealous, and absolutely deserved consequences for what she did. But what I cannot accept is the way this story decided that the punishment for cheating and betrayal should be repeated r*e, sexual humiliation, and total dehumanization.

That is where the story completely lost me.

There is a huge difference between revenge and outright sexual torture. The older sister could have exposed her, destroyed her social standing, cut her off, made her lose everything she took from her sister, or even had her face public punishment or jail depending on the setting. There were so many ways to write a dark revenge arc without crossing into this. But instead, the story chose to have her sold off and repeatedly raped as if sexual violence is a clever or satisfying punishment for adultery. It isn’t. It’s disgusting.

What makes it worse is that the story doesn’t feel like it is treating this as a horrifying moral collapse. It feels like it wants the audience to watch the younger sister’s suffering and think, “good, she deserves it.” That is exactly why this stopped working for me. The younger sister was vile, yes. But cheating does not justify being sold into repeated sexual violence. At that point the older sister is no longer someone I can root for as a victim. She becomes an abuser herself, and honestly a far more horrifying one because she knowingly weaponizes r*e as revenge.

And the older sister is not morally clean anymore either. She also sleeps with the younger sister’s fiancé and gets pregnant, so now she is also repeating betrayal in her own way while still being framed like the righteous one because she was hurt first. I don’t buy that. Once she chose this kind of revenge, I stopped seeing her as a victim I should sympathize with and started seeing her as another awful person in the story.

The fiancé is also shameless. First he is with the younger sister, then he gets involved with the older sister, then he suddenly seems attached to the older sister, and now he goes back to the younger sister with that pity-filled “do you want to come back?” attitude. And honestly, even his face says everything. It doesn’t look like love, remorse, or genuine care. It looks like pity, obligation, and disgust. Like he knows she is broken and has nowhere to go, so now he is offering to “take her back” not because he truly loves her, but because it is convenient or because he feels responsible. That makes the whole thing even uglier. It doesn’t feel like redemption. It feels like one more layer of humiliation.

What bothers me the most is how casually this story uses r*e. R*e is not some dramatic revenge tool to punish a “bad woman.” It is not a satisfying form of karma for cheating. It destroys people physically, mentally, emotionally, and socially. So when a story takes a female character who betrayed someone and decides that the “perfect revenge” is repeated sexual assault and degradation, it stops being revenge and starts feeling like torture p*n disguised as justice.

At this point I don’t even feel like the older sister is a victim anymore. I understand why she was angry. I understand why she wanted revenge. But there is a line between revenge and becoming worse than the person who hurt you, and this story crossed that line completely. The younger sister was wrong, but the punishment was so extreme and so sadistic that I ended up feeling more disturbed by the older sister and the writing itself than by the original betrayal.
So no, this no longer feels like a revenge story to me. It feels like a story that wanted an excuse to indulge in female suffering, humiliation, and r*e, and then call it justice. That is why this arc completely ruined the story for me.
