There is no hope for a happy ending

Actually I can't understand why her step mother death whom abonded him after his father death and let him be homeless and sell his body for surviving effect him so much I mean I thought he maybe have questions from her but get devastated in such length I cant undrestandI'm trying to understand why his stepmother's death affects him so much. She abandoned him after his father's death and left him to survive on his own. I thought he might have questions for her, but it’s surprising to see him so devastated. It’s really puzzling!

I keep reading but somehow the story is a little bit confusing and I guess some parts

He is not a child, he is just not mature or we can say he acts different

He must suffer the consequences and will not be forgiven. It is imperative that he takes full responsibility and rectifies the damage he has caused.

I wish pain and punishment for all of them, they are not different

He might attempt to take his own life but is rescued by the general, losing his memory permanently and eventually falling in love with the general, leading to a happy ending; otherwise, there is no hope.
