GUYS I SAW A PANEL FROM THE NEXT CHAPTER…
i wanted to add my comment as well. i may repeat with what the others already said cuz i couldn’t agree more with all these comments, but here is my piece of thought:
at this point, my biggest issue isn't even the conflict itself, it's the fact that the emotional labor keeps falling on jae. in so many bl stories, the top is the one who has to fix everything, chase after the other person and prove himself over and over again, but that doesn't automatically work when the one causing most of the problems is the bottom (even if he has traumas from the past!). right now, jae is the one communicating, listening, trying to understand and constantly making space for garam's feelings, while garam still seems stuck in the same cycle of self-pity and avoidance. i don't need some huge dramatic gesture from him, but i do need actual accountability and effort. that's why this doesn't feel satisfying to me. it feels like we're supposed to be happy just because garam finally showed up, but that's literally the bare minimum. meanwhile, jae has been carrying this relationship for chapters. for once, i'd like to see garam do the chasing. i'd like to see him reflect on his actions, acknowledge how much hurt he's caused and actively work to earn jae's trust back instead of everything being resolved because jae is patient enough to wait. character development only works when both characters are allowed to grow. right now, it feels completely one-sided.
i wish there was also an angry emoji in ,,bow did this chapter made you feel?" cause damnnn i jus...
i did not understand the last two new chapters at all but whatever… trying to think about a plot based on the panels haha 🥲
is there anyone who reads a lot on here? when i click on profiles, i always see a bookmark number of about 100 or less… and then i look at mine and think “am i too obsessed with reading on here?” 🙈 or maybe it’s because i have no other hobbies 🫣
A few days later, she calls Taeon. She intends to give him an answer to his marriage proposal, but instead asks him out on a date. The next day, they spend quiet, ordinary time together—eating temple-style food, sharing expensive fruit bingsu at a hotel, and walking hand-in-hand through a garden in the warm early summer evening.
Though she still hasn’t directly answered his proposal, their conversation reveals her feelings. She tells him to quit smoking and drink less—concerns that sound like someone planning a future together. Taeon teasingly accepts all her conditions, even offering to change anything she dislikes about him. When he asks if she has more to say, she challenges him to share his own conditions. He simply responds that he has none—he just wants her to come to him as she is.
Overcome with emotion, Sahee finally steps into his arms and confesses softly, “I like you.” Taeon embraces her tightly, kissing the top of her head, confirming that he has been waiting for this moment.
