karyle was raised this way, it was literally shown in one of the chapters- he grew up too fast, he was forced to mature early

ash is obviously scared- not to love someone, but losing someone he loves (comes from his trauma, from when his mother sacrificed herself just for his safety when he was little)

its the LACK OF COMMUNICATION that caused the misunderstandings between them. ash was never an ass****. karlyle was never a coward. they misunderstood each other’s feelings (especially karlyle)

ik ash set the boundaries but its so obvious that he likes him too😭 he even fell asleep next to him when he said that he doesnt like ppl sleeping next to him in his bed like ☹️

it isnt his fault though, he made it clear in the beginning that he doesnt want anything more than what's between them (set his boundaries) and only in the latest chapter hes confused w his true feeling + karlyle is the one who misunderstood ash at the end so its particularly both of theirs’ fault
