@Chenel As I said, I hope Ian gets to be happy with TJ, I just feel like there are some unspoken things lingering and that the "resolve" felt a bit fast to me.

I don't know why you're questioning my sense of loyalty or love, I didn't mean to imply that either is bad or that Ian made the "wrong" choice. I do think however, that loyalty alone is not a good base for a relationship, especially if that causes ones self to no longer be loyal to ones self and ones own beliefs. Loyalties are often a good thing, but they change over time, especially when people grow, that is not necessarily a bad thing. Also loyalty has to be earned and upkept, if I keep treating those, who are loyal to me like s*t, they have no obligation to stay loyal to me.

If you've ever been in an abusive relationship or know someone who has been, you might come to the conclusion that changing loyalties can be a really good thing, because other than love, which we have no control over, we can decide ourselves if we want to stay loyal to a person. So please, keep that in mind when talking to "people like me" who have heard enough about why loyalty is so important when things get hard. It is, if the source of trouble is NOT one of the partners in the relationship.

Gloves sounds wild, guess you learn something new every day :D Like, eating pizza with fork and knife is also common in Germany (where I live) when you're in a restaurant (especially the more expensive places), but I think it's more about restaurant table manners compared to fast food place-manners, than about greasy hands. As someone who hates greasy hands, I'm a fan.

What you say totally resonates with me, Ian's and Jo's breakup was devastating, but not badly written. I'm still not convinced that TJ and Ian are a great fit, but Jo and Ian probably wouldn't have worked very well and Jo definitely deserves a healthier relationship. Maybe Ian could have grown, but I think he has loved TJ for a very long time and never got the chance to get over him. He wanted a clean cut for the longest time, but was unable to make it himself, which is really sad. I hope he is happy, but I feel like there are a lot of unresolved feelings.
