@Kaito I don't think they realize that starving how he did and getting beat on probably stunted his growth and since his body is now getting the proper amount of nutrients and stuff he'll obviously start growing again at least if we think about it with manga logic since I don't think you start growing again if your growth is stunted irl

@Callie I mean he was like the lowest of low ranked soldiers so even if he did have swordsmanship is probably wasn't any good nor did it probably have any good martial concepts if anything him forgetting that swordsmanship probably helped since it would've conflicted with any new ones he learns since he's be use the movements from his old one
