The older guy is acting more off. Also dropping hints about how he's been in similar situations and done the type of thing before also although I don't think it's the younger guys intention I feel like the older guy is seeing the younger guy talk about liking the hotel experience it reminds me of the other publishing guy who was talking about when his exes start to use him for money etc. It feel like there is disconnect especially from the older guys side he never gets vunruble or emotionally participates like they younger guy really doesn't know much about the older guy

This is my first time reading so my prediction of some problem thta might happen is

1. The younger guy gets a job again and kind of doesn't need money anymore and the basis of the relationship is money well that's how it started at least 

2. There is gonna be conflict about the source of the older guys interest in the younger guy like do you only like me because it makes you feel good to spoil me (do you like me for how I make you feel rather than liking me)  Anyways I think that could be conflict cause it seems like the younger guy is starting to genuinely like the older guy

3. Conflict about their relationship status and the younger guys other crush and maybe conflict about to what degree they'll reveal the relationship cause before the younger guy panicked over when the older guy said they were together

But all of this is a guess I could be could  be completely wrong

The other guy (from uni that he liked) definately isn't for him like how are you gonna hear that someone is struggling with money and then think to invite him out to spend more money. I obviously understand he has good intentions but it seems he doesn't really understand the mc's struggles.
