@Anna01  i think he never kissed her. He just pretended to hold her. He did that because  It's related to the delmark family curse. He was distant to her so his parents story wont happen to them

The pope kills her to harm hardin so he goes berserk because of the Denmark family's curse.
About the white haired lady: In my opinion she isn't exactly pure evil but shes kind of evil. More spoiler: she falls in love with hardin but he doesnt give a f about her. She thinks blaire is cheating and that hardin is unhappy so She spreads a rumor about Blair being pregnant by another man. This saved Blair the work, as she was planning to pretend to date other guys anyway so she can run away with the child. And the girl also helped the pope indirectly
