Good job on u but not everyone can do it. I understand u had your own struggles but everyone handles things differently. I know plenty of people who really want to go to the gym or just exercise at home and loose weight but they never have the time. For them it's always work 9-12 hours a day, take a long drive home, and sleep. 

plus are u rlly defending a person who's body shaming? What if they shamed someone for being too skinny, would it still be ok?
