@Cid Lunius There was plenty of build up. Obviously not a very large amount, because this isn't even a romance manhwa. He literally just had a realization that when he thinks of dating he thinks of ilya. Also while he does tend to be caring towards others, it was quite obvious that he went above and beyond for ilya. He literally said he valued his relationship with ilya the most. Not to mention the part where they held hands briefly which flustered ilya. I think it's unrealistic to expect in depth romance when they're swordsmen facing life threatening events daily. Having a life filled with so much stress makes it easy to ignore or not notice deep emotions brewing inside. The other relationship also had very obvious hints and relationship building moments that led up to them dating. Just because they didn't entirely focus on the relationships until know doesn't mean that they didn't exist. There has been little sprinkles of build up throughout the story. Claiming that they didn't progress through their relationships is just ignoring a large part of the story. They absolutely spent time as students, competitors, friends, and more. It feels as though you rushed through the story without actually paying attention to all the small details.

@Forever  You people see a girl and instantly assume there has to be romance. There is zero romance tag and this is barely the start of story. Learn to have some patience and read a mature manhwa if you want a loser getting laid.

@R You don't have to train in martial arts to be good at street fighting. An average martial artist will lose to a half decent street fighter. They're way too used to rules and can't compete with the tricks you'd experience in a street fight. Also even if you weren't trained, you could 100% beat someone wearing giant gloves. Those probably weigh 10 pounds each so it'd be pretty much impossible to even punch with.

@MALFURION I'm sorry, but if you think this has good art or a good story then you are severely lacking in the brain cells department. The art is above trash tier, but still pretty bad. The story is about as trashy as it gets for a power fantasy.

@Seiden Yeah, but that just means they are training to lose. People in real life practice in all conditions that are common. People in real life can't magically make someone have hallucinations so no one trains for that. People in a world filled with magic have the capability to magically induce effects. If they can do that then they can very easily train to be used to these effects. It's unrealistic to compare real life to a fictional world, because they literally have magic. If we use a little logic then it makes zero sense to not train in conditions you see commonly.

@Fuckyoubitches all these other people are massively overstepping. Whether your siblings are good or not depends on who you are and who your family is. I love each and every one of my siblings (I have 4). They are all wonderful people, very flawed, but amazing people. The mutual respect and friendship we hold between each other is far better than what I hold with anyone else (excluding my parents and gf). Obviously we weren't always like this and there have been rough times, but even having the chance to hold such a deep connection is a gift.

@darren “Neetaku” lyddieth While they're technically the same plant. Coriander refers to the dried seed and cilantro refers to the fresh leaves and stem. The text says cilantro because the noodle soup visually shows a lot of leaves which is indicative of cilantro and not coriander.

@moondae.darling Sorry but the ship is an exact copy of the Titanic besides the funnels missing. It sank in 1912 so it is not that modern of a ship. Also they literally have magic. It would make zero sense if magic and flaming swords existed but they still used sail boats as their largest form of sea transportation.

@haraan kazim Idk if you forgot or just didn't read, but it was very plainly laid out that he would lose up to 26 years of his lifespan. It wasn't half like the others said. We don't know what his original intended lifespan was. That's literally the only price he had to pay to get the all for one ahh ability.

@?????? No one has ever treated cheating as something good. If you actually had any reading comprehension, you would understand that it's being used as an insult. This means it is seen as something bad. Some of the individuals are fantasizing about having lovers, because this is in a time period where marriage does not require love. During this time period political marriage is common, so many men and women had lovers. This is part of the reason the title is literally "marriage of convenience." I'm not saying you can't dislike the story, but claiming that they're treating cheating as no big deal is just wrong. It has historical backing and really isn't that important when you think about the horrendous things people did during this time period. Also they've barely ever even mentioned cheating, because no one has cheated yet. It's absurd to make an assumption over the literal 5 panels that even mention cheating.
