@StoppingCorpses They were active in swordmanship practice.  Which requires some physical grueling exercises and warm ups.  You have to build upper and lower body strength to be able to effectively fight and protect.  So good, toned muscle is important.  There is a valid reason contemporary/modern swordsman all over the world are usually fit and built well.

@ImasuckerforblackhairedML I agree.  I think that ML has had a crush on MC for a while, and is using the show as an excuse to cozy up.  I do not think the ML has any bad intentions, but I can totally see it becomming a potential misunderstanding. Like of a reportor or if an outsider tries to say it was all for raising publicity and popularity for the ML during the show.
