Such a mindset is very terrible because you're blaming the victim for being hurt by the actions of the abuser rather than blame the abuser for abusing and not trying to seek forgiveness or make things right. Why should Yeonju forgive him? Did he even actually attempt murder? He had the poison but he actually didn't do anything to warrant the abuse Heerang is doing to him.
