Yall I read the novel and it's good but oh so bad. Trigger warning AND SPOILERS a lot of painful r@pe will occur for a long period of time bc the ML is essentially a raging racist who kills a whole race of ppl and the MC is one of those ppl. Also most of their direct intercourse is violent and rouge bc the ML is an ass****. But I will say in the novel the romance is slow burn and genuine and that's y I kept reading after the MLs actions(I was in a hostage situation tbh). The MC is extremely naive and too innocent for this world and the ML uses the MCs undying love as a crutch for all his terrible actions bc he knows the MC won't ever fully leave.
