(Theory that seems right but is awfully stupid): the dude from the other chapter the one who was holding the liquor drenched by something liquid I "think" he lit himself up on fire for a reason maybe we was mentally unstable and couldn't stand it anymore and the ring represents that maybe he was engaged to the ML and the ML couldn't get over him. 

*{I know it seems kinda smart but if it was right than why would he still have intimate relations if he couldn't get over him?}* exactly.

The grandma needs her loved ones to be around her at that moment...her grandchildren's friends can come by the next day it doesn't have to be the same day since they aren't obligated to even be there. Yes I do understand why some of y'all are mad but again it isn't his grandma but his friends. (If needs to be there for someone it should be his friend but she is with her grandma and they need their space after all it's "her" grandma.) 

*for others who disagree*: it's like going out with your whole family (since Mr.cat is his loved one) and bailing on them since your friends grandma is in the hospital.
