The scandal is about Moondae stealing a sanitary pad from a classmate, because Moondae doesn't remember anything about that he considers leaving the program(?) His group mates question him about it asking him wether the rumor is true or not and Moondae tells them that he doesn't remember anything after attempting to commit s*151d3.

Then the classmate who was the victim of the stealing clears the rumor and defends Moondae saying that he didn't steal anything from her and that instead he was helping her. After the scandal is cleared Moondae remains in the program.

That's what I mostly remember, sorry if I skipped some parts as I read this part some time ago. I tried to summarize everything so that the spoiler doesn't end up too long.
