Really, how long is the mc gonna have faith in that family? Instead of blaming the duke for having an affair or properly mourning their mother, they keep tarnishing her name by pinning the mc as the villain...really, I hope she doesn't forgive any of them. The sister gets half a pass because she's still young, hasn't had an opportunity to learn how dangerous high society is, and is easily manipulable. The rest of them, though, have clearly not grown up to see past their noses, spoilt, careless and senseless. The father gets the most blame; he perpetuated all this, and considering he's someone who also cheated on his wife despite having three children, he's a flaming trash bag. The brothers are awful, they've grown up so much and still can't understand the difference between wrong and right...i bet they'll stick to some cliche of the second brother actually kinda liking the mc and wanting to care for her but his own pride and misconceptions, refuses to listen to reason. Really, his betrayal hurts the most after the sister's because at least the eldest didn't even pretend to like ehr from the beginning...

I hope mc leaves them soon lol
