Sorry, guys, but this is not a love triangle, this is a love ANGLE. Love triangle is when all the involved are in love with each other, not two people in love with one. That literally makes just an angle: point A and point B are both attached to point C, but not attached to each other, that only makes an angle. Triangle is when all the points are connected to each other poco sticker
Why is this dude so interested in mc? They literally just met. Unless... he's also someone from mc's childhood, but he doesn't remember him 🤔

@foreveryyonug tbh, there's still a lot for me to think about, but i hope i don't seem condescending or annoying with my speeches here lol. That's just the only thing i can do about my life now. I wish i could do more, but oh well, my body, constantly aching, doesn't want me to get up from bed for hours and eat, all i can really do is think. And it's 1:20am rn, very philosophically appropriate time.

I've been thinking something for a while, about Ilay and Tae dynamic. Since the moment they met, they already had a lot of chemistry. I feel like, maybe, they were meant together regardless of who's a bad guy or a good guy, regardless of of one of them turns out psycho or not. The fact that Tae and Jae were tied by a red thread was only because they're twins. The red thread tale is about finding a person on the other side of the thread, but i'm not sure if it makes sense, at least not to me. I know this case is fiction, but that's one of the many things i think about time to time. Reminds me of how everyone in MLB say that Marinette and Adrien are meant for each other; they end up together in every universe.
While typing all that, another thought crossed my mind. I think Tae was meant to become the gentle side of Ilay. Like, i dunno, it was predetermined regardless of anything. They were meant to meet no matter what. Tbh, that's what i like about life and how humans can come up with stuff like this, even if it's not certain that it's real at all. The only thing i don't like is that sometimes matters are handled not very pleasantly. If Tae was meant to become a "redemption arc" for Ilay, then wouldn't it be cruel toward Tae himself? There's no way one could defy their fate. But it's not like bad things can be entirely avoided.
Bro's first time apologising in his entire life, I feel like a proud mother. Although, if he were my son, he wouldn't have ended up like this in the first place... poco sticker

@foreveryyonug While i do not believe in redemption for rapists, i would personally kinda go easy on people with psychopatic disorder. Maybe i'm just biased because i like psychopatic characters trope, but either way... If he doesn't kiss the path which Taeui walked later in life, i'm just gonna pretend that i never read this, and go touch grass.

I just straight up skipped two chapters, cause it was too much even for me...
The thing about psychopaths, is that you can't really predict how they turn out. Some psychopaths actually learn to adjust to the societal norms, learn cognitive empathy (basically empathy based on facts) and yada yada. I remember watching a video yt recommended me last year about a diagnosed psychopath who became a psychotherapist. She did it solely to understand herself. But here comes the difference between male and female psychopaths... Ilay and that woman are two polar opposites despite the fact that they were raised in similar conditions. Add to that testosterone is the primary driver of emotions in men. But he genuinely doesn't understand what is he doingwrong. I feel like he was raised with his behaviour and outbursts ignored, they didn't do anything about them except cover up after him. If they did something, it wouldn't be that bad. He's only now learning about consideration and love, but that doesn't mean it justifies what he's doing in the process of learning... I genuinely do not understand what's wrong with people who call this romance or hot. This is not romance; this is far, far away from the definition of romance. And after all that they have a happy ending... Miss me with this bullsh1t.
What Taeui's gonna feel toward Ilay isn't love - it's Stockholm syndrome, just like Euihyun from Low Tide in Twilight. This is just so cruel. I'd rather die than deal with this for the rest of my life. But it's just me. I genuinely cannot see Taeui's future with Ilay, he may be mentally strong for now, but that won't last long if this continues. And, as a result... he might just give up on his life.
I'm not gonna even say anything about this chapter; just the fact that i'm reading this manhwa should've gotten me on the bad side with my own conscience.
