This chapter once again proves the point that those with basic skills and spells can bring wondrous effects as long as they are used in the right way.

Barrier + Water over the enemies head  = drowning
its even more effective against mages/magic users where chanting is required to successfully cast the magic to dispel the water/barrier.

And this is merely a 2 simple spell combo. Imagine adding even more simple spell effects like "ink" and "poison" and "paralyse" into that combo, the enemy is blinded, poisoned and probably paralysed too. What a crazy but logical use of combination magic

I always think that the greatest humiliation to a warrior is to be eaten. It's like you were not defeated, you are eaten, like a piece of meat, nothing but nutrients for your oppressor.

The defeated isn't someone that needs to be remembered. Because he/she is food. Merely food. Just another meal in a day of the oppressor.

Milim: Rimuru, why are you creating a new clone and sending it to an unknown random world without any memories?

Rimuru: ... well, I think it will be fun to experience completely new lives once in a while since I'm a multiversal G** now

Milim: 🤷🏻 true dat

Finally, a smart MC who actually thinks of a plausible way to warm people about impending disasters, instead of those rubbish brain dead arrogant regressor MCs who keep everything to themselves and still let thousands of people die on the process.

F U C K those authors.

梅山七圣白猿「袁洪」Yuan Hong is legendary. In the novel 封神演義 「Investiture of the Gods」he has skills on par with the battle g** 楊戩 Yang Jian, matching him with every steps, even the mastery of the ultra rare skill 八九玄功 「89 Divine Techniques」... he only lost because of some ultra OP cheat item given to Yang Jian by 女媧 Nu Wa.

This monkey is supposedly much stronger than Sun Wukong...

@Queen Elizabeth that's just 紅孩兒, the son of Ox Demon King. He is a side character in the novel Journey to the West that for some reason, defeated Sun Wukong in the first round using his weak Samadhi Fire.

@Kuro.Inu 紅孩兒 Red Boy is the son of 牛魔王 Ox Demon King and 鐵扇公主 Iron Fan Princess. After being defeated by Sun Wukong, Red Boy is accepted as the disciple of 觀音菩薩 Guan Yin .

Red Boy is not Nezha. Red Boy is a demon that became the direct disciple of Guan Yin (top 3 overlord of Chinese Buddhism). Nezha is a g**, son of heavenly General Li.

Wait..
That Neza or Fake Version of Neza...? 🤔🤔🤔

lol nice touch to add Zhang Jiao in. He might not be strong in his martial abilities but he has a perverse ability to rouse people and lead them into fervent cult-like following. A natural born cult leader. He is born to stir sh** and run rebellions in countries.

lol so that's how they justified Li Yuan Ba and Li Bai's g** lineage. So what we see in actual history, are merely their public incarnations, which in most immortal novelisations, are meant for training in the mortal world. After completing these "tribulations", they return to their deity/immortal status.

okay, fine, I accept that justification.
