although the story is a bit odd to follow i feel that gives it a charm of its own. i'm satisfied with how this played out.

i'd say it's still phos. this just happened cause once she did what needed to be done for the gems and for everyone, she was betrayed and took to the only option left for him. in turn this pushed phos over the edge and now he's completely abandoned the ones who betrayed her.
