I'm happy that dae was able to set that boundary, it's pretty obvious that he wants to define a relationship, but the ML doesn't want to label anything, both their feelings go against the others, which only leads to an unhappy relationship since dae wants seems to want something more fulfilling than what the ML wants. It's really evident that the ml literally doesn't want anything more than what they had, since it was so easy for him to throw around love and "between like or hate".
